CREW BIOS

NADAV HEKSELMAN - Director of Photography

For as long as he can remember, Nadav has always wanted to make movies. He started making home videos with his friends and went on studying film in high school. In 2001 he started film school at Tel-Aviv University. It was then that he realized the core of his passion for films was telling a story through images and visual language. From then on he focused on becoming a director of photography. Nadav is now working in the Israeli television and film industry, shooting documentaries, fiction films, music videos and commercials. He recently shot the German-Israeli feature documentary The Heart of Jenin, a six-episode documentary series and won the Bronze Tadpole Award for Best Cinematography at the "Camerimage" Film Festival for Roads. www.NadavHekselman.com

AMIT GINTON - Editor

After completing his studies at the Beit-Berl School of Arts Film Department, Amit worked in almost every field of film and television. This included everything from water-girl on a TV commercial to director of photography on short films. In 2007 Amit decided to focus on film editing and the first project he took on, after successfully convincing the director to let him do so, was Roads. Amit received two Best Editing awards for Roads at film festivals in Germany and Italy. Since, while developing projects as a writer/director, Amit has been working as an editor on various productions for the Canadian and Israeli TV/Film industries.

EREZ KOSKAS - Original Music

Erez Koskas was born on July 17th 1977. He began his musical career as a drum player for a local band. He went on to study in the “Rimon” School of Music in Israel and later in the Music Academy of Prague. He then continued to study symphony orchestration under the renowned composer Jan Friedlin. In addition to producing and performing, he built his own music studio where he wrote and produced numerous projects for television, commercials and films. Erez arranges and produces unique projects where he brings together different musical styles. All his projects were arranged, recorded and produced in his private studio located in Tel-Aviv. Ido Hartogsohn (1978) is a journalist, author and media artist. He has published in major Israeli newspapers such as Haaretz, Maariv & Globes and websites such as Ynet, NRG, Walla & Nana10. Hartogsohn is the person behind guerilla web-video underground movements such as

ODELIA LAVIE - Production Designer

Odelia Lavie is a graduate of the Design for Performance department of Central Saint Martins College, London. After graduating in 2002 Odelia was making performance work and working for fringe theatre in London, and since 2004 she is working for Israeli film and television as art director, set dresser, props person and model maker.
