Lior Geller is an Academy Award and Emmy nominated writer/director/producer and Guinness World Record holder whose films have played at over 100 international film festivals and won over 35 awards.
Lior grew up in Israel and New Jersey, and studied film at the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University. His graduate short film, “Roads”, played at over 70 international film festivals earning a Guinness World Record for the most highly decorated student film of all time and an Academy Award Nomination. The success of his student short brought Lior to Hollywood where he has since sold multiple feature scripts as screenwriter, edited over 75 movie trailers, directed 12 hours of network television, multiple web series and an Emmy nominated German-French-Israeli documentary. Currently Lior is in post-production on his first feature film “We Die Young” starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, David Castaneda ("End of Watch", "Sicario 2") and Elijah Rodriguez (“Sicario 2”) based on his Oscar nominated short film and is in development of a TV series based on the biblical story of the Maccabees.
